RECON trolling motor features a proprietary saltwater corrosion-resistant coating and features an all-in-one cable with UV-resistant coating, ensuring durability even in harsh environments. Due to these features, maintenance requirements are low. Simply rinse the product with freshwater after each use.
We also recommend reguarly checking the prop, shaft, batteries, and tightness of mounting bolts.

RECON fits the MotorGuide Universal Quick Release Bracket, and various HD brackets manufactured by other brands that have an Xi5 hole pattern. However, due to the increased power of the RECON trolling motor, we recommend the use of Lowrance HD Quick Release Brackets. Please check with the manufacturer of any 3rd party brackets prior to use.
